Students will also get the government-funded stipend by paying fees at least half way through the course. This means that those who have completed one or more years of schooling with an aim to apply for this type of scholarship will have three months of time to complete the bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with no fee waiver. However, the student may continue to study further, if possible, to qualify for graduate level for another time.

This mechanism aims at ensuring that students do not get stuck into a limited job offer at the end of a course or the completion of their Ph.D. program, so that rather, they can find employment in a variety of areas depending on their personal interest, and, perhaps, look forward to exploring the possibilities that lie beyond academia and helping out society.
