CUSCO - Rift Valley

Composed by Kristian Schultze and Michael Holm BSC Music - 1999 - ALbum: Sielmann 2000 TV Series - WOnderful Nature Movies Website official of CUSCO http://www.lucille.de/html/cusco.html The Great Rift Valley is a name given in the late 19th century by British explorer John Walter Gregory to the continuous geographic trench, approximately 6,000 kilometres (3,700 mi) in length, that runs from northern Syria to central Mozambique in South Eastern Africa. The name continues in some usages, although it is today considered geologically imprecise as it combines features that are today regarded as separate, although related, rift and fault systems. Today, the term is most often used to refer to the valley of the East African Rift, the divergent plate boundary which extends from the Afar Triple Junction southward across eastern Africa, and is in the process of splitting the African Plate into two new separate plates. Geologists generally refer to these incipient plates as the Nubian Plate and the Somali Plate. The Great Rift Valley as originally described was thought to extend from Lebanon in the north to Mozambique in the south, and constitutes one of two distinct physiographic provinces of the East African mountains. It included the Jordan Rift Valley, Red Sea Rift and the East African Rift.

PETER MERGENER - Ave BSC Music - Vitam Aut Mortem - 2008 Website official of Peter Mergener http://www.peter-mergener.de The Persians were a people of Indo-European origin of the Indo-Iranian branch that eventually merging with the peoples they conquered in the Achaemenid era. It originated as a group of nomadic tribes whose original location lay north of the plateau of Iran. Around 1400 a. C., some of these tribes, ancestors of the historical Persian, moved to southern Iran. Before the rise of the Persian nation, the area of the Middle East was being battered by wars. The focus of these wars was the aggressor and militaristic state of Assyria. The Assyrians constantly launched campaigns against the peoples around them, looting, killing and deporting performing stocks or their ruling classes at least. This caused great human and economic deterioration throughout the area, including the Assyrians, who became depopulated due to severe casualties in wars. Finally Assyria began to weaken his enemies united in a grand coalition, the defeated and by the year 610. C. the Assyrians had been completely subdued. The new situation showed four new pillars of power: in modern Iran and western Turkey, the Medes; in Mesopotamia, Syria and Palestine, Neo-Babylonians; in North Africa the Egyptians, who were trying to extend their influence to Palestine and Syria; and Turkey in the different states, with Greek influences. These states encompassed diverse populations, not all submissive to the new order. He continued to have wars, but as bloody as the Assyrian campaigns. The biggest problem was that, despite having a nominal government, were disorganized. Many of these governments were intolerant and charging excessive fees. The Persians were a core of identifiable people who lived in southern Iran today, when under the government of the Medes, but with a degree of self-government.
